Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data: email address, username, chosen avatar, hashed password (handled by our auth provider).
• App activity: mining sessions, boosts, streaks, points history, tasks, referrals, support messages.
• Device data: app version, phone model and a one-way hash of your device ID (we never store the ID itself), used to apply the one-account-per-device rule; basic technical logs needed to keep the service working.
• Reward activity: the time and number of ad-based rewards you claim each day, used to keep rewards fair.
• Advertising data: Google AdMob may collect your device advertising ID, IP address and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. See Google’s policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

2. How we use it

• To run your account, calculate $HOOD points and show leaderboards (username and points only).
• To prevent fraud, multi-accounting and abuse.
• To send in-app notifications and optional local reminders you can switch off.
• To answer support requests.

3. Sharing

We use Supabase (database and authentication) and Google AdMob (ads) as processors. Your username, avatar and points are visible to other users on leaderboards and to your team. We share data with authorities only when legally required.

4. Your choices

• Personalised ads: manage consent in the privacy prompt shown on first launch (EEA/UK) or reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
• Notifications: turn them off in Settings → Notification settings or in Android settings.
• Delete your account and data at any time in Settings → Manage account, or see Delete your account.

5. Retention and security

Data is kept while your account is active and deleted when you delete your account, except records we must keep for legal reasons. Data is encrypted in transit; access is restricted by row-level security.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
