HOOD Network litepaper
How $HOOD mining works, how the rate is calculated, why the rate halves as the community grows, and how Gold Points and the HOOD Treasury fit together. Version 1.0, October 2026.
1. Overview
HOOD Network is a free social rewards app for Android. Members start 6-hour mining sessions, boost their rate, complete tasks, play two in-app games and build teams to earn $HOOD points. The most active members also earn Gold Points, which are planned to share in the HOOD Treasury — a public basket of tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain funded from the app’s ad revenue.
2. Mining sessions
“Mining” is a game mechanic: your phone doesn’t mine cryptocurrency or use its processor or battery to do so. You tap to start a session, the server records the start time and your rate, and your balance grows for 6 hours. Up to 4 sessions fit in a day. When a session ends, its points are added to your balance automatically and you can start the next one.
- Boosts: up to 7 a day while a session runs. Each adds +0.1 $HOOD/hr for the rest of the session and +2 $HOOD right away. Using all 7 adds a +25 $HOOD bonus.
- Daily streak: mining on consecutive days raises your base rate — from +3% on day one to +69% at 100 days.

3. The rate formula
rate = (base × (1 + streak%) + teammates mining × 0.025 + boosts × 0.1) × (1 + Inner Circle × 5%)
The base rate is 1.000 $HOOD/hr today. The rate is fixed when a session starts and updates when you boost or when teammates start mining. Try it with the rate calculator.
4. Halving by members
There is no timer. Each time HOOD Network reaches the next member milestone, the base rate is cut in half (with a floor of 0.0100 $HOOD/hr). Sessions already running keep their rate. This rewards early members and keeps the total supply of points in check as the community grows.

5. Tasks and games
- Earn tasks: follow HOOD on X, Instagram and Telegram, post about $HOOD, rate the app, watch 3 short videos a day (+10 $HOOD) and reach invite milestones.
- Spin to Earn: 10 free spins a day (each after a short ad), or 200 $HOOD per extra spin. Top prize 5,000 $HOOD.
- HOOD Lottery: pick a number from 1 to 100. Every 12 hours one number is drawn and the 2,000 $HOOD pool is shared by everyone who picked it. If nobody did, paid tickets are refunded. 4 free tickets a day.
Every result is drawn on the server with cryptographically strong randomness.
6. Teams and invites
Every member has an invite link (hoodnetwork.app/invite/CODE). When a friend signs up with your code, verifies their email and finishes a first session, you get +5 $HOOD. From then on, each teammate who is mining adds +0.025 $HOOD/hr to your rate. Choose up to 5 teammates for your Inner Circle for +5% on your whole rate each.
7. Gold Points
Gold Points are HOOD’s VIP points. They can’t be bought, sold or transferred. Finish the whole daily checklist to claim +1 Gold Point:
- Mine 2 sessions
- Use all 7 boosts
- Use all 10 free spins
- Claim all 4 free lottery tickets
- Finish the daily tasks
The checklist resets at 00:00 UTC. Your Gold streak and total are shown on the Gold leaderboard.
8. The HOOD Treasury
Part of the app’s advertising revenue is used by the HOOD Network team to buy tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain. Holdings and values are published in the app and on this website for transparency. Gold Point holders are planned to receive a share through periodic (for example quarterly) airdrops, free of charge. Eligibility, amounts, timing and any verification will be announced separately; airdrops are at HOOD Network’s discretion and are not guaranteed.
9. Ads and revenue
HOOD Network is free. Rewarded ads are optional and the app tells you exactly what you get before each one. Ads are paced like real views (a minimum gap and a daily cap), which protects the revenue that funds the Treasury.
10. Fair play and security
- All rewards are decided on the server; the app can’t change a balance.
- One account per person and per phone; invites from the same device never count.
- Rate limits and a minimum app version stop scripts and outdated clients.
- Accounts that cheat can lose points, Gold Points and invite rewards.
